Workshop Proposal Information
If you have a special skill or craft you would like to teach others, please send us a business proposal that contains the following information:
- The medium or skill you would like to teach
- The number of students you can teach at once (The workshop space is actually a very large kitchen that has full working appliances, lots of counterspace and can comfortably seat 8 to 10 people at one large table – There is no kiln available).
- Length of time / number of sessions needed to complete one workshop
- Supplies needed – What do you provide and what do the students need to purchase and bring with them?
- The cost of your workshop. The Gallery gets %50 percent of what the students are charged. Our %50 pays for the space & utilities, labor for all the press releases we send out, postage & printing costs for flyers, some drinks and registration administration. The Gallery does not provide the art supplies needed for the workshop.
- A paragraph to be used for advertising that describes the seminar objective and what benefit or tangible item the student will leave with.
- A photograph of one example of a finished product
- A photograph of the instructor
The resume should be a basic resume describing your experience in the medium as well as your experience teaching it. Please send the above information to:
