This piece is approximately 16" high x 20" wide, not including the frame. It is believed to be an original oil painting by 17th Century Dutch artist, "Stap" Jan Woutersz. There is no authentication documentation, but the canvas appears to be of linen, and although aged, is in good condition. The piece is signed and with no edition number, often indicating an original work. It was retrieved from a warehouse in Miami, FL near the art district. Brush strokes are clearly evident. There is a bronze colored placard at the bottom of the frame that reads "Hebreew Reeding - Jan Woutersz 1599-1663. Research indicates a value of $8500.00 if the painting is an original. The asking price is $8500.00.
