Inti was the sun god of the Inka who settled in the Andes and created the city of Cuzco. Legend has it that when the Inka were challenged by the Chancas, Inkan king Viracocha prayed to Inti for help. Inti came to him in a dream and inspired him. In the morning, Viracocha gathered a small band of warriors to stand against the Chancas. At the right moment during the battle, Inti turned the surrounding stones into warriors, and the Inka triumphed. This work is framed and measures 24" x 12." The price is $12,500.00.
