Dear Angela,
I wanted to let you know that my book was published and you're mentioned in the acknowledgements. I'm attaching a copy of the covers and a little bit about the story (Click here to view). It's been selling well and I'm getting great reviews.
Hope all is going well with you and that we'll get a chance to meet one day.
I want to say once more how much I appreciate your help in getting an artist for me. Thank you so much.
Myrna

Excerpts from a student's letter:
It's Back to the Drawing Board for Art Student
I wish someone had taught me to draw at an early age. I would have had a much richer life -- and a great career as a professional Pictionary player.
I wonder why art was not emphasized more during my primary education. Perhaps mass education sticks to the things it can test, or in today's world, is forced to test. Zing.
To make up for my inadequacies, I recently received drawing instruction from LoPressionism Gallery in Melbourne. The gallery is small but has some very impressive art on display...
The teacher placed a Hibiscus in front of each of us and asked us to draw what we saw...
"Pencils are too confining," she said. "You need lots of space to express yourself."...
Quietly, Kimberlina guided my charcoal around the outline of my flower and backed away while my hand still was moving. To my surprise, there was a flower hidden in my charcoal. The shadows and angles flowed easily...
I placed the final touches on my flower as the class ended. We cooed over each other's work like talking to proud parents. Kimberlina looked at mine and smiled as she said, "Larry, you forgot to sign your work."
I am an artist. Where are my sandals?

Dear Ms. St. Amant
Recently I called your gallery with a request - I was looking for an artist to paint a mural on an exterior wall at my home. You were very kind and took my information and promised to circulate my information.
Within just a couple of days I received several phone calls from artists who were interested in this work. After interviewing them I selected Jack Himes to create this "birthday present" mural for my wife.
Thank you for your assistance in making this surprise possible. I appreciate the effort that you exerted on my behalf.
Sincerely,
Harry Williams
