"Welcome, Christmas, bring your cheer. Cheer to all Whos far and near. Christmas Day is in our grasp so long as we have hands to clasp. Christmas Day will always be just as long as we have we. Welcome Christmas while we stand, heart to heart and hand in hand."

HOW TO SERVE YOUR COMMUNITY
Melbourne Main Street is looking for artists to create the poster for the Main Street Masters of Art Festival this October. Poster entries must incorporate the Downtown Melbourne Gateway (located at the west end of East New Haven Avenue where Hwy 192 splits) in some way. They may be an abstract design and depict items specific to our coastal region. This celebration is upscaled quite a bit from the past, with a wine tasting tent, jazz &a crafts section east of the train tracks! An upscale / indulgences theme would be good. Entries must be 20" high x 16" wide, portrait orientation. Any 2-D Media or surface is acceptable - but it must be able to be scanned or photographed for reproduction. The back of the work must be labeled with the Artist's name and contact information and entry into the contest constitutes permission for Melbourne Main Street to reproduce images of the winning artwork for advertisement and for sale of commemorative posters without royalties due to the artist. Visit downtownmelbourne.com for details. We are also looking for an artist chair person for the Masters of Art. Call Angela at (321) 722-6000 for more information.

MUSIC FOR THE HOLIDAYS

So I know you have heard the one with the artist names before...here is a different diddy for you!

Make out your Chopin Liszt early before Debussy season, when you have time to check out Verdi good bargains are, can still get gifts Faure good price, not have to Handel large crowds and have time to give Bach things you decide you don't want.
