Since 1976 Judith Copeland has been hand-carving chunks of wood with a mallet and chisel, then sanding them down to accentuate the unique grain within each beautiful sculpture. The wood sculptress can transform what an average person would burn in a fireplace into a spectacular icon, celebrating anything from the spirit of a woman to an intricately sculpted sea shell. Much of Judith's inspiration comes from her years spent combing and living by the Florida seashore.
